OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim will hold an extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting
On January 26th, 2012 OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim Board of Directors held its regular session presided by its chairman A. Shigabutdinov, General Director of OAO TAIF.
Board of Directors took note of the information on implementation effectiveness of Energy saving program for 2011-2015 with the perspective until 2020 including actions taken to enable OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim’s entry to electric power wholesale market. Currently the Company is implementing the third energy saving program envisaging 246 energy saving measures. It is planned to save 367 MIO kWh of electrical power, 878 thousand Gcal of thermal power, 47 thousand tons of fuel equivalent. Expected savings from the measures to be introduced are 1.1 bln rubles.
The Board reviewed and took into consideration information on the implementation of Lean production program and on the role of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim in further development of small and medium-sized industry businesses within the framework of interrepublican cooperation system including development of Kamskie Polyany Industrial Park and Nizhnekamsk Industrial District Association.
Board of Directors approved OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim’s reorganization through merger with OAO NKNK-Divinyl and draft agreement for OAO NKNK-Divinyl merger with OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim.
Board of Directors adopted agenda of extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, the text of the notice to be published, form and text of ballots, list of data to be presented to shareholders, amendments to OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim Charter, its revised version and the repurchasing price of the Company’s shares.
The extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim will take place on March 6, 2012 in the form of absentee voting.
The Board of Directors instructed the management board of the Company to proceed to development of basic design of EP-1000 and derivatives production complex.
