Collective agreement approved for 2012
Today Vladimir Busygin, general director of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim and A. Khairullin, chairman of the Company’s union have signed the collective agreement between the employees and the administration of the Company for 2012. A document that regulates relationship of the labor collective and the management was discussed in the conference and fulfillment of the collective agreement for 2011 was summarized.
General director V. Busygin reported in the conference about the results of the Company’s financial and economic activities for the accounting year.
Total production in 2011 is evaluated at 121 billion rubles exceeding the production of 2010 by 31 billion rubles. Production growth rate is 107.6%. The major production facilities were running smoothly at the rated capacity throughout the year and as a consequence maximum production outputs were reached on rubber that is 559,000 tons and 593,000 tons of plastics. For the first time the annual ethylene output exceeded 600,000 tons. Increase of production and shipment volumes enabled to get 14 billion rubles of net profit.
5.3 billion rubles were paid to Tatarstan consolidate budget in 2011 including 646 million rubles – to Nizhnekamsk budget.
In the reporting year the rubber finishing line #3 of Welding company was put in operation as well as the pilot production unit of R&D center, and 2.5 million tons of single stage isoprene and 1 million tons of polystyrene were produced since they had been placed in service.
The share of synthetic rubber supply to major foreign tire works increased by 9% and amounted to 77% of the total export volume.
Based on the implementation of the energy saving program from 2000 through 2010 the energy intensity of the marketable products was reduced by 60%.
350 million rubles were spent in 2011 on implementation of the ecological program and more than 20 operations were accomplished. A significant part of financial resources was used for improvement of the cooling water supply system and modernization of cooling towers and completion of work on reconstruction of water intake unit and repair and improvement of biological treatment plants and repair and reconstruction of underground systems.
In recent years atmospheric emissions became half as much, and all quality indices of purified effluents discharged to Kama river improved.
All safety measures of the collective agreement for 2011 have been implemented in full measure. Over 480 million rubles were allocated for industrial safety issues in the reporting year.
Total amount of payments to workers and retired persons for the period under report against the clauses included in the collective agreement is evaluated in 452 million rubles and that is 4% higher than the planned amount. In addition to approved provisions of the collective agreement, from February 1, 2011 payments have been made to employees for anniversaries and for the first marriage. In the past, pecuniary aid for the newborn was paid to women only, and from 2011 payment will be made to both parents that are employees of the Company.
160 million rubles were allocated for medical service of employees and retired persons under the contract with Spasenie insurance company, and 10 million rubles for loans to young families, and 19 million rubles to the trade union committee for development of cultural and recreational activities.
Total resources committed to social sphere in 2011 exceeded 1 billion rubles.
At the conference A.Khairullin, the chairman of trade union committee of ÎÀÎ Nizhnekamskneftekhim, reported on collective agreement fulfillment.
A. Metshin, the head of Nizhnekamsk municipal region, and T. Vodopyanova, chairman of Tatarstan Federation of trade union organizations, took part in the conference.
Conference delegates considered collective agreement for 2011 completely fulfilled.
All privileges and rewards of 2011 agreement were retained in the document which regulates relationship between employer and employees for the year 2012.
