Petrochemists have rejoiced their professional holiday
On May 29, a ceremonial event, organized by the OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, took place at the Sports & Cultural Center called the “Ice Palace” devoted to celebrating of the Day of Chemist.
The festivity was opened by a prologue with the film which has reflected labor achievements of the company collective, and the best performance numbers of the Festival of amateur creativity which took place in April this year. The General Director of the joint-stock company Mr. V. Busygin in his address to the public has noted, that according to the results of the last 4 month activities current year, the OAO Nizhnekamsknrftekhim manufactured different products for more than 27 billion Roubles, or by 77 % more, than in January-April, 2009; the proceeds exceeded the last year figure by 12 billion Roubles, sales of rubbers and plastics have doubled. The General Director has handed out awards to the representatives of labor collective.
The Head of Nizhnekamsk municipal region and the city of Nizhnekamsk Mr. A. Metshin, has addressed the audience with a word of salutation and handed out the Certificates of Merit.
Following this, Cups and Letters of award have been handed out to the winners and prize-winners of the Company Olympics.
Performance of the guest singer, celebrity of Russia, Larissa Dolina has crowned festivities in the Ice Palace.
Later in the day, football and volleyball Cup Finals of the Company, competitions on track and field athletics and other kinds of sports took place in the stadium " Petrochemist ", at sports halls "Friendship" and "Torch".
In the evening, a pop-show and disco dancing for the youth took place in the square in front of the Arts and Crafts Palace followed by the colorful fireworks.
Sing, dance and pop groups from the Arts and Crafts Palace and from the “Neftekhim” public catering Management took active part in creation of a holiday spirit on the Day of Chemist.
