OHSAS 18001:2007 to be introduced
As of 3.10. 08, " Nizhnekamskneftekhim " INC introduces an international standard OHSAS 18001:2007, which rescinds and replaces its first version OHSAS 18001:1999.
The 2007 version accentuates a prompt information interchange system on occupational health and safety among employees and managers. In this connection, the role of labor safety wardens amply increases. Besides, a list of indicators and criteria, compared to the current one, is significantly extended, which being applied for a comprehensive assessment of the labor safety status and conditions at the Company.
