In
March, Oligomer Plant of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC continued
experimental-industrial tests for the purpose of putting
into service a propane-propylene fraction separating column
at Propylene Trimer Unit.
The first phase
of tests aimed at reducing feed loss in technological process
was implemented in late 2004-early 2005. The outcome not
only contributed to reducing a propylene flow rate from
1.165 to 1.133 tons per propylene trimer ton, but also to
revealing “bottlenecks”, which upset stable operation of
Propylene Unit.
There is a current
plan of measures to improve operation of the Unit, those
are supposed to be proved at tests commenced in March.
