Environmental Management
Following the principle of sustainable development, “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC declares the environmental management as one of the underlying corporate priorities and one of the determinal factors in the Company’s advancement. A key objective of the policy is to scale up ecological efficiency.
That is going to be achieved by:
compliance with the Russian Federation Environmental Regulations;
resources conservation;
reducing negative environmental impact and substituting most health-hazardous substances in use for less harmful ones;
compliance with the state code, operating procedures, regulations, standards and instructions effective at the Company;
systematic analysis of the ecological situation, taking indispensable corrective and proactive measures;
forming necessary funds to implement planned ecological indicators;
continuous personnel training, including in environmental protection;
improving the environmental management system;
enhancing emergency resistance of the production facilities and environmental constructions;
involvement of research and design institutions with tackling actual ecological problems;
regular ecological auditing and know-how activity;
systematic highlighting of the environmental issues in mass media.
